If you knew me well, you know my nickname is Chick. Has been since I was a baby.

I have 7 grandchildren that are my heart of life.
We are a close family and I am so blessed

My children have been my life's work, lol. I think I was born to be a mom.

I should have been a grandmother first, They can never do anything wrong. I spend lots of time with them all .
I remarried and had the last two children with 20 years difference between them. It worked out great, the babies looked up to their older siblings. All four children are close.

The one memory of my teachers was Mr. McNair.
He taught drivers training. My legs were shaking so bad
He told me to go "dead slow". My legs couldn't move.
That circle was not like really being on the road with other traffic and yet I froze.
I had my road test at the Detroit Police Dept on Beaubien ST. in Detroit.
The officer actually took me on a busy street. I was so nervous. He asked me to make a left turn. Aha, he was trying to trick me. I refused to turn left. He demanded I turn left!! I again refused, pointing out that there was a sign that said "No Left Turn". He yelled that it was for the other side of the road. Um, I turned left. I didn't think I passed. We came back to the station and my father asked the Officer if I passed. He asked my father if he wanted to buy some tickets for some police benefit. My father bought them and I passed. :)

I just read Marsha Alpert's profile, and it brought back a memory. My typing teacher said she would pass me if I promised never, ever, take typing again.
She was wrong. Here I am typing. There is no paper over the keyboard and I am not peeking. :)

My hobby has always been writing and drama. I pursed acting as a young adult, I did 1 play and got the lead.

I went to O.C.C. I loved the broadcasting program the public speaking. I would write everyone's scripts if they would do the control panels. Uck, I could never get the knack of the controls.
