I married my High School sweetheart Bonnie (Goldberg). She died November 30, 2004.
Recently Annette and I moved to downtown Detroit. Our apartment looks out over the Detroit River and all of Belle Isle. I remember the great times we (Larry, Steve, Danny, Mike and I) had canoeing the canals there. Sadly the canoes are long gone.
We really enjoy walking to restaurants, shows and strolling along the River. The "D" is a great place to live now with events going on most weekends. So far we have gone to the Jazz Festival, Noel Night, Winter Fest, watched the Marathon and eating at various diners, dives and restaurants. Remember Lafayette Coney Island??? The DIA is a mere ten minute drive. We love shopping at the Eastern Market on a weekly basis.
