Happy Hanukkah (for those who celebrate—for our other classmates—I hope you have some light in your life).
For Vernorites, here’s a great memory: Check out this article from Detroit Free Press:
Unraveling the mystery of Vernors as a medicinal drink: Fact or Michigan folklore?

Lambda, Michael.
Happy birthday!
Happy birthday, Steven. Long time since Vernor. Sounds like life has treated you—as well as us—well. Mumford helped but Vernor was the foundation.
We are in Boca—Broken Sound—in winter. Nothing better in spite of press.
Be well.
David
So sorry to hear of passing of a fellow Vernorite and nearby neighbor.
May Donna's memory be a blessing!
My deepest sympathy on the loss of Alan. We go back a long way. Truly one of the nicest boys/men I knew and remember. May his life and memory be a blessing, Sandy!
Fondly, David
Thanks for thoughts and blessings to all of you. Actually, Harvey and I shared Great-grandparents--Aron and Sadie Aronovici (became Haron on Ellis Island or later) in Iasi, Romania. My grandfather and his two siblings, one of whom was Pearl (Harvey's Grand-mother who married Sam Jacobs) apparently (according to my son the researcher) hitch-hiked across Europe and eventually came to America. Harvey's mother Ann (or Anna/Annie) Jacobs married Morris Watnick. Small but connected world!!!
My dear cousin.
So sorry to see this. Charitable professional and excellent lawyer. Enjoyed visiting with them at the Gallery Restaurant when he and Ellen were running the William Booth Legal Aid Clinic, seeing them at Temple Israel where we worked together at the first SOS Homeless Shelter.
